Roadtrip 2015 Fall: Vancouver - Astoria - Bandon - Anderson - Paso Robles - Palm Desert - Morongo Valley - Sedona - Henderson - Lone Pine - Sacramento - Ashland - Newport - Astoria - Vancouver

Day 39 - Lunch at Rene, Sedona Uptown

We wait with baited breath for our Kobe Burgers at Rene.

Our table view of the charming old world style courtyard at Tlaquepaque.

The salad course has arrived.

Definitely recommend Rene - quality is in style here.

After lunch we venture off for a walk up to "Old Town" Sedona. The New Age offerings are immediately apparent.

The Crystal Vortex ensures that ample parking is also available.

Emma's found a store she really really wants to visit. We try to tell her it's not as good as Fideaux - but she's not buying it.

There are interesting sit upons. The last person who actually sat down played with their vortex crystals for too long and has never again been seen.

The all American corner - you can have your red rock view and your psychic consult too.

Just for George - and Georgie. You'll have to fight it out for the college fund.

Them pesky pink jeeps sneak into practically every picture.

In case you didn't get who is responsible for everything in Sedona, including (probably) the Vortexes.

The Official Sedona Tourist Shot. There are probably 35,000 examples of this exact shot made every day from this exact Kodak spot. I was standing directly upon the X. They even grew the cottonwoods below specifically to hide the trailer park that's there. Really.

The drive through liquor store is a rare beast - mostly confined to small town Australia. Sedona takes the American lead in more than just Vortex manufacture.
